Something new to chase and explore

Your baby loses interest in the same toys within minutes, and you are left hunting for the next distraction.

Flat, static toys do not hold a crawling baby’s attention once the novelty of shaking or chewing wears off.

This elephant toy rolls across the floor on its own, bouncing a soft ball above its head to pull little eyes straight back in.

Three ways to play in one toy

Buying a separate drum, a light-up spinner and a ball popper for your toy box adds up fast and takes up a shelf each.

A pile of single-function toys gets ignored just as quickly as it got bought, leaving you with more clutter than play.

This one elephant drums its own beat, lights up as it rolls, and pops a ball into the air, all from a single toy.

Playtime that keeps going without you

You need five quiet minutes to start dinner, but putting a toy down rarely buys you more than a few seconds of peace.

Toys that need constant winding, holding or restarting end up back in your hands within moments, not your baby’s.

Switch it on and this elephant rolls, drums and flips its ball by itself, giving your little one real hands-free fun while you get on.

Materials, care & sizing

Materials
· Durable, non-toxic plastic body built to handle crawling hands and gentle knocks.
· Soft, lightweight ball that hovers above the elephant’s head during play.
· Smooth, rounded edges throughout, with no exposed small parts in normal use.

Sizing
· Measures approximately 21cm tall, 16cm long and 12cm wide.
· Best suited to babies and toddlers from around 12 months who can sit or stand to play.

Care
· Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth; never submerge in water.
· Remove the batteries if the toy will be stored for a long period.
· Keep out of direct sunlight to stop the colours fading over time.

Does it need batteries?

Yes, batteries power the lights, sounds and rolling movement; they are not included, so pop some in before the first play session.

Is it suitable for a baby who has just started crawling?

Yes, the smooth plastic body and large, rounded parts suit babies who are crawling or pulling up to stand, though play should always be supervised.

How does the ball stay up in the air?

A gentle stream of air from the base keeps the lightweight ball hovering just above the elephant’s head while it plays.

Does the toy move around on its own?

Yes, it has a bump-and-go action, rolling forward on its wheels and changing direction whenever it meets an obstacle.

Good fun, a bit noisy for small rooms

My daughter absolutely loves the drumming sound but it does carry through our flat more than I expected. At 12 months she's fascinated by the lights and chases it round the living room daily, so it's earned its keep despite the volume.

Holds up well to rough play

My son is quite heavy handed with his toys and this has survived several drops and the odd bite without any cracks. He's 15 months and particularly likes the football popping up above the elephant's head.

Great toy, instructions were basic

The toy itself is good fun and my 13 month old loves chasing it round the lounge. The included instructions were quite minimal so it took a minute to work out the battery compartment, but once sorted it's been great.

Kept my son calm on a long flight

We took the batteries out for the plane but he still loved pressing the drumsticks and watching the ball bob about with his hands. At 19 months he's past the chewing stage so I wasn't worried about small parts.

Nice size, not too big or small

It's a good size for little hands to hold onto without being bulky to store away. My daughter is 17 months and likes pushing it along herself now as well as watching it move on its own. Lights are bright without being overwhelming.

Bought for our second child

Our eldest had something similar years ago so we knew our youngest would like this style of toy. At 10 months he's mostly fascinated by the lights on the wheels rather than the drumming part, but either way he's glued to it.

Great distraction while I cook dinner

Switch it on and my 12 month old is happy watching the ball float and the elephant drum away while I get tea ready. Genuinely buys me ten minutes most evenings which is more than most toys manage.

Well made for the price point

Wasn't expecting much given the cost but the plastic feels decent quality and the joints on the arms holding the drumsticks haven't loosened at all. My twin boys are 14 months and take turns banging the drum.

Lovely bright colours

Got the blue one and it's gorgeous in person, really vivid. My little one is 8 months and mostly watches it move and lights flash from her playmat for now, but I can already tell she'll be chasing it in a few months.

Does the job, batteries drain fast

My daughter enjoys it a lot and the bump and go feature is genuinely clever engineering for the price. Only gripe is we go through batteries quicker than expected with how often she wants it switched on. Would still buy again.

Perfect for a crawling baby

My son is 11 months and chases this across the living room every evening. It's surprisingly quick for a toy on wheels. The orange colour has stayed bright even after a fair bit of handling and the odd drop.

Fun but the ball popped off once

Overall a good buy for my 15 month old, the drumming and lights hold his attention well. The little football did come loose and roll under the sofa once, so I keep an eye on it now. Still plays with it most days though.

My daughter won't put it down

She's 16 months and carries the elephant around by its ears most days. The wheels light up when it moves which she thinks is magic. Only downside is she gets a bit loud when she's excited about it, but that's not the toy's fault.

Travels well in the car too

We take this on long drives to the grandparents and it keeps our son entertained without needing to be switched on, just the drumsticks moving when he taps them. Plastic feels solid and the edges are nicely rounded for little hands.

Good for tummy time and beyond

Started using this during supervised floor play with my 9 month old and now she tries to crawl after it when it rolls. The colours are lovely and bright and the drum sound isn't too harsh on the ears, which I appreciated.

Easy to switch on, no faff

No assembly needed at all, just pop the batteries in and it's ready to go. My little boy is 13 months and the way the ball hovers above the elephant's head keeps him watching for a good ten minutes at a time, which is rare for him.

Second one we've bought

We already had the blue version for our eldest and liked it so much we got the orange one for our youngest so they stop fighting over it. Both toddlers find the lights and music genuinely exciting rather than just noisy for the sake of it.

Sturdy little toy, good value

Picked the orange one and it looks brighter in person than the photos suggest. My daughter is 14 months and loves pressing the drum herself now rather than just watching it go. No wobbly bits after a few weeks of daily use.

Bought as a gift for my sister's baby

My nephew is 10 months old and this was a hit at his birthday. The drumming elephant catches his attention straight away and the little football bouncing on the air jet is such a clever touch. Arrived well packaged too.

Great for a curious one year old

Our son is just starting to pull himself up and this gives him something to chase across the kitchen floor. The bump and go movement means it changes direction on its own when it hits the skirting board, which he finds hilarious. Battery life has been decent so far.

Keeps my toddler busy for ages

Bought this for my 18 month old and she is obsessed with watching the little ball pop up and down. The drum lights up when she bangs it and the wheels flash too, so there is loads going on. Feels sturdy enough for her to crawl all over without anything snapping off.
