Can the back cushion hold my baby on its own?

No. It isn't safety equipment. An adult must support the baby as needed and stay within reach throughout the bath. The bath doesn't replace supervision.
Can I use it from birth?

The earlier text says from birth to about 3 years, but the maker's age marking and instructions need confirming before you buy it for a newborn.
Is a pump included?

A pump isn't on the packing list. Get the pump type and any accessories confirmed before you order.
How is the bath emptied?

The image shows a drain in the base. Follow the instructions for the model you receive, and empty the bath after use so it isn't left with water your baby can reach.
