Materials, care and size

MATERIALS
See-through plastic with magnets set inside.

WHAT'S INCLUDED
32 pieces: 16 squares (7.5 cm), 8 triangles, 4 right-angled triangles, 4 large triangles and a wheeled base. The sizes run from about 3.75 to 9.5 cm.

COLOURS
Supplied in RANDOM colours. It says so directly on the maker's images ('Random Color'). You can't choose the colour mix.

MINI SIZE
This is the maker's mini travel size range, so smaller tiles than standard magnetic tiles. They're easier for small hands to handle and take up less room in a bag, but they won't necessarily fit with larger magnetic tiles you already own.

AGE
The maker doesn't give an age.

Wipe with a damp cloth.

SAFETY - MAGNETS
The tiles contain magnets. If a tile breaks a magnet can come free, and magnets are dangerous to swallow: if a child swallows two or more they can pull together through the bowel wall, and that's an emergency. Check the tiles regularly and throw away any tile with a crack straight away.
Can I choose the colours?

No. The set comes in random colours, and it says so on the maker's own images too. We'd rather tell you straight. Email us before you order if it matters and we'll check what we have in stock.
Do they fit with ordinary magnetic tiles?

Not necessarily. This is the maker's mini range, with smaller tiles than the standard. They connect fine with each other, but a 7.5 cm tile doesn't line up against an ordinary 10 cm tile. Email us if you want to add to a set you already have.
What can you build?

Houses, towers, boxes, rockets and vehicles. The wheeled base means a building can turn into something that rolls. Inspiration cards are included according to the product photos, but most of it ends up being something your child invents.
Can they be taken along?

Yes, that's the whole idea of the mini size. 32 tiles at this size take up about as much room as a lunchbox and fit in a rucksack. They work on a table on the train and on a flat surface in the car when you've stopped.
