Which size should I choose?

Go by your child's height in the chart, not their age. The cut is loose already, so you don't need to size up unless your child is right on the border, where the larger size lasts another season.
Are the straps adjustable?

The maker doesn't say, and we won't guess. In the product photos the straps appear to be tied at the back of the neck, which in practice lets you adjust the length. Email us if it matters and we'll check a real one.
Are there pockets?

Yes, there are side pockets, as you can see in the product photos. That's the kind of detail that decides whether a child will wear something. Stones and conkers have to be able to come home.
Can it be used outside summer?

It's made as a backless summer style with bare shoulders, so on its own it works best in warm weather. In spring and autumn it can be worn over a long-sleeved body or T-shirt, and then it lasts further into the season.
