Does colour get on my baby's skin?

No. That's the whole point of an ink-free system: the colour is in the paper supplied and reacts when skin touches it. The pad itself leaves nothing behind, so the hand is just as clean afterwards as before.
How many times can the kit be used?

The maker states up to 3 times per pad. That leaves room for one attempt that didn't work and still two real prints, a hand and a foot for instance.
Does it work on a newborn?

Yes, the kit is suitable from birth. The hard part isn't the print, it's getting a newborn to open their hand. Try while your baby is asleep, and gently roll the hand out onto the paper rather than pressing.
Can it be used for a dog or a cat?

Yes, the maker mentions small pets. The same method: the paw goes on the pad and then on the paper. The print area is 6 x 9.5 cm, so it suits a paw of that size.
