Materials, care and size

MATERIALS
Fabric with an absorbent pad and a leak-stopping layer. The maker gives an absorbency of up to about 40 ml, so enough for an accident, not for a whole night.

SIZES (the maker's chart - all measurements are round the body, and the elastic gives about 5 cm more)
S - 3-9 kg - waist about 36 cm - height about 22 cm
M - 10-16 kg - waist about 39 cm - height about 24 cm
L - 17-25 kg - waist about 41 cm - height about 25.5 cm

Please note: size S is listed as '3-6 kg' in the version picker, but the maker's chart says 3-9 kg. We go by the maker's chart. Email us if you're unsure.

CARE
Wash at 40 C. The maker doesn't give a programme or say whether they can be tumble dried.

How much can they hold?

The maker gives an absorbency of up to about 40 ml. That's one accident, enough that it doesn't run down the leg and onto the floor while you get to the toilet. It isn't enough to replace a nappy at night.
Which size should I choose?

Go by your child's weight in the maker's chart: S is 3-9 kg, M is 10-16 kg and L is 17-25 kg. The waists are 36, 39 and 41 cm with about 5 cm more in the elastic. Note that S is listed differently in the version picker, so email us if you're on the line.
Can they be used at night?

No, we wouldn't recommend it. They hold a single accident of about 40 ml, and that isn't enough for a whole night. They're meant for daytime, when your child is awake and can get to the toilet.
How do you wash them?

At 40 degrees, according to the maker. Rinse them in cold water first if there's been an accident, and wash them with the rest of your child's clothes. The maker doesn't say whether they take a tumble dryer, so air dry them if you're unsure.
