SAFETY - PLEASE READ
Your child's face must always be clear and visible, and their chin must not be pressed down onto their chest, closing the airway. Your child should sit high enough that you can kiss the top of their head. Their back must be supported and their knees higher than their bottom. Check the tie every time you put the wrap on, and tie it while standing over a bed or sofa until you're confident with it. Don't use the wrap while cooking at the hob, drinking anything hot, cycling or driving.
Is it hard to tie?

A wrap has to be learned, and the first few times take a while. That's the honest version. In return, it's tied the same way every time once you have it, and then it takes under a minute. No Danish tying guide comes with the product data, so practise the tie without your baby first, and email us if you'd like help finding a good guide.
What age can it be used from?

The maker gives a weight range of 4 to 16 kg, so from a newborn of normal birth weight up to around three or four years old. With a very small baby it's extra important that the face is clear and the chin isn't pressed onto the chest.
Can both parents use it?

Yes. That's one of the best things about a wrap compared with a buckled carrier: there are no settings to change. The fabric is tied around whoever is carrying, so the same wrap fits two adults of different sizes.
How long can my child be in it at a time?

The maker doesn't give a time limit. Follow your child: change position when they get restless, check that the face is still clear, and take them out if they get too warm. Your child also has to come out of the wrap when moving to a car or pram. A wrap isn't safety equipment in a vehicle.
