How does it attach to the trousers?

The two ends of the belt have press studs that close around the belt loops on the trousers. So the belt stays in the trousers it's fitted to, and you don't have to take it off and on every day, which also means it doesn't get lost.
Can my child manage it themselves in the toilet?

Yes, that's the whole idea. Because the belt is elastic and has no buckle, the trousers can be pulled down and up again without opening anything. That's the detail that matters most at nursery, where an adult isn't always free.
Does it fit all trousers?

It suits trousers with ordinary belt loops. If the trousers have no loops, as many soft joggers don't, there's nothing to stud it to. Check a pair of trousers before you order.
