Give your arm a break

Your arm aches after yet another lap round the kitchen with your toddler balanced on one hip.

Shifting them from hip to hip barely helps, and by the school run your shoulder is burning too.

This hip seat carrier gives your child a structured place to sit, so your forearm stops doing all the work.

One carrier, two ways to carry

Buying a quick-lift seat and a separate hands-free carrier means paying twice and storing two bulky products.

Neither one alone covers both the five-minute pick-up and the half-hour hands-free walk you actually need.

This 2-in-1 design gives you the seat alone for quick lifts and a full carrier with padded straps for longer, hands-free carries.

Everyday outings without the extra bag

Digging through a changing bag for your phone and keys while holding a wriggling toddler never goes smoothly.

By the time you find them, your arms are tired and your patience is wearing thin too.

Built-in pockets keep your bottle, phone and keys close, while the two-part hook-and-loop and buckle fastening stays secure all day.

Materials, care & sizing

Materials
· Structured hip seat with a padded, wide waistband and detachable padded shoulder straps
· Hook-and-loop closure plus a secure buckle for two-part fastening
· Detachable hood doubles as a sun and sleep cover in carrier mode

Sizing
· Designed for children aged 4-36 months, up to 20 kg, who can sit unassisted and hold their head up
· Waistband adjusts to fit most wearers, roughly 64-120 cm (25-47 in)
· Not suitable for newborns

Care
· Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry away from direct heat
· Check the sewn-in label before machine washing
· Store flat with the hood tucked in to keep its shape

Can more than one carer use it?

Yes. Simply adjust the waistband and, when fitted, the shoulder straps to suit each wearer, so it is easy to share between parents or carers.

Do I need to hold my child when using the seat alone?

In seat-only mode, yes, one hand should stay on your child at all times. Once the full carrier is correctly fitted with the straps, it is designed for hands-free use.

What's included in the box?

Every carrier includes the hip seat with its waistband, detachable padded shoulder straps, a detachable hood and a printed safety notice, all for one price.

How does the seat support my baby's hips?

The structured seat holds your child in a healthy M-shaped position, supporting their bottom and thighs while keeping their weight close to your body.

Good support, strap length runs a touch long

The seat itself is great for my 15 month old and I can feel the difference in my lower back after a day out. The shoulder straps are a bit longer than I need even on their tightest setting, so there's some excess webbing flapping about. Still use it most days despite that.

Exactly what I needed for a clingy toddler

My daughter went through a phase of wanting to be held constantly and this carrier saved my sanity during it. The structured seat means she's properly supported rather than just hanging off my hip awkwardly. She's 19 months now and still happily goes in it most days.

Really pleased with this purchase

Ordered this after my arms were aching constantly from carrying my 12 month old round the house. The difference from day one was noticeable and she settles into the seat without any fuss. Would happily buy another colour as a spare.

Handles nappy bag duty as well

Between the zip pocket on the front and the two side pockets I've basically stopped carrying a separate changing bag for short outings. Nappies, wipes and a spare dummy all fit in easily. My 10 month old barely notices the extra weight isn't on my shoulder.

Good for a bigger toddler near the weight limit

My son is a sturdy 3 year old close to the upper weight range and I was doubtful it would hold up, but the seat hasn't sagged or stretched at all. The waistband still fastens securely even with him at that size. Would recommend for bigger toddlers too.

She loves it, hood could be bigger

She's 2 now and will point at the seat and ask to get up, which says a lot more than anything I could write. The seafoam green colour was a nice change from the usual grey and black options, though the hood doesn't quite cover her face in the pram-facing position. Easy to wipe clean after she's had a snack in it too.

Comfortable for longer carries too

Didn't think I'd use the full hands free mode much but ended up wearing it for a whole hiking trail with my 21 month old asleep against me. Padded straps didn't dig in even after a couple of hours. Really impressed given how compact it packs down.

Takes the stress out of nursery drop off

Mornings are chaos with a toddler who wants to be carried and a baby in the pram at the same time. This lets me manage my 16 month old on my hip while still pushing the pram with my other hand. Genuinely makes the morning routine bearable.

Solid carrier, wish the pockets were bigger

Everything else about it has been great for the last two months but the side pockets are a touch too small for a full sized bottle, only really fits a small one. The seat support itself is excellent though and my 13 month old is always content in it.

Great for a smaller toddler

My son is quite petite for 15 months and I worried he'd swim in it, but the waistband and straps both adjust down enough that he sits snugly. The hood has been useful for shading him on sunny walks. Pleased we gave this a try.

No more sore arms, just a bit stiff to fasten

My daughter wants picking up the second she's bored of the swings and my arms used to be done for by bedtime. The seat takes nearly all of that weight now, though the buckle is stiff enough that I need both hands to clip it the first time each outing. She's 14 months and settles against me happily once it's on.

Pleasantly surprised by the build quality

Wasn't sure what to expect but the zips, poppers and stitching all feel properly finished rather than cheap. My 8 month old is on the smaller side and the seat still supports her well. The mesh lining keeps her from overheating on warmer days too.

Brilliant for museum and zoo days

We're big on day trips and this has made a huge difference when my son gets tired of walking halfway round. Quick to get him up on the seat without digging through a bag for a separate carrier. He's 2 and a half and still fits comfortably.

Finally something that fits my husband too

We share carrying duties and most carriers we tried before only really fit one of us properly. This one adjusts easily enough between my waist and my husband's without having to start from scratch each time. Our 12 month old doesn't seem to mind who's wearing it.

Converts between modes really smoothly

Like that I can use just the seat for picking my daughter up quickly then clip the straps on for a longer carry without needing a separate product. She's 17 months and happy in either mode. Makes the school run and the long weekend walks equally manageable.

Colour still looks great after washing

Went for the blush pink and was worried it would fade or mark easily given how light it is. Spot cleaned it a few times now with just a damp cloth and mild soap and it still looks like new. Would happily buy the same colour again.

Handy for the one handed moments

With a toddler in one arm you need the other hand free constantly, for doors, for the dog, for answering the phone. This carrier gives me that back properly. My 19 month old settles into the seat within seconds now he's used to it.

Great value compared to others we looked at

Compared this against a couple of pricier carriers in the shops and honestly can't see what we'd be missing out on. The seat is just as structured and the straps just as padded. My 16 month old has no idea it wasn't the expensive one.

Our twins' nanny swears by it

We have twins and bought two of these for our nanny to use with each of them individually. She says the structured seat is far comfier for her than carrying either of them in her arms for the long stretches. Sturdy enough for daily nursery runs too.

Lovely carrier, bit snug on waist sizing

Everything about the design is great, especially the built in pockets for my phone and the baby wipes. I'm on the larger side and the waistband is right at its limit for me so I'd like a bit more room to adjust. Still use it most days regardless.

Easy for grandparents to use

Bought this for my parents who look after my daughter twice a week. My mum isn't the strongest and says the hip seat takes the strain off completely when she's doing the school pickup. Simple enough for her to adjust without any help from me.

Worth every penny for my back pain

I've had ongoing lower back issues since my pregnancy and carrying my 13 month old in my arms was becoming unbearable. This spreads the weight around my waist properly and I can manage a whole walk to the park without my back complaining. Genuinely grateful for this one.

Does exactly what it says

No complaints so far after six weeks of near daily use. My son is 15 months and seems genuinely comfortable in it, doesn't fuss to get down like he does with some carriers. The denim blue colour has held up well and doesn't look worn.

Ideal for travel

Took this on holiday instead of the pushchair and it was so much easier through airport security. Folds down small enough to fit in hand luggage with room to spare. My 2 year old napped against me in the full carrier mode on the flight home.

Good product, wrong size arrived

The carrier itself seems well made but the box I received had the waistband stitched slightly off so it never quite sat flat against my back. Customer service sorted a replacement but it took a while to get there. Would still consider buying again given the actual design is solid.

Great for my second child

Had a different carrier for my first and this one is a different league. My 9 month old sits so much more securely on the structured seat and I'm not constantly readjusting her like I used to. The two part fastening gives me real peace of mind.

Sturdy and well made

Expected something a bit flimsier for the price but the stitching and zips feel proper quality. We've had it three months now with daily use and it still looks new. My daughter is right at the top of the weight range and it still feels solid.

Bought as a gift for my sister

My sister just had her second baby and was struggling to carry the toddler while holding the newborn, so I got her this. She says the wide waistband takes the pressure off her hips far better than just carrying in her arms. Looks smart in the charcoal grey too.

Hands free mode is brilliant for shopping

Fitted the shoulder straps for a big supermarket shop with my 20 month old and had both hands completely free to push the trolley. He fell asleep against my chest halfway round. The detachable hood kept the sun off him nicely too.

Perfect for quick lifts around the house

I use this constantly just for the fifty times a day I need to pick my 10 month old up off the floor. Don't bother with the full straps for that, just the seat on its own does the job. Machine washable label inside is handy for when it inevitably gets grubby.

J

Good but took a bit of fiddling

The seat itself is excellent and my toddler is much happier on my hip than hanging off my arm. Took us a couple of goes to get the waistband tight enough without it slipping, which is why it's four rather than five stars. Once set up properly though it works a treat.
