· Take the patting hand out of the cover before washing
· Cold wash the cover and air dry it afterwards
· Store the mechanism dry and out of direct sun
How does the patting mechanism work?

A remote switches on a weighted hand inside the toy, which makes the same soft, repeated patting motion a hand would.
Is it safe to use in the cot?

It's intended for supervised use, and the cot should be kept clear of toys when your child sleeps alone and is under 12 months.
How long does a charge last?

The weighted hand is rechargeable, and a full charge keeps the patting motion going for around 4 hours. The remote runs on ordinary batteries.
