Take the pieces out of the water after the bath and let them drip dry, so no water is left standing in them.

How many pieces are there?

Nine in all: one ferry, four mini cars and four small boats. The cars drive up the ferry's ramp and sit on the deck, and the boats sail alongside, so there's enough for two children playing together.
Do the boats squirt water?

In the main photo you can see one of the boats squirting a jet of water, which suggests they work as squeeze squirters. The maker doesn't say so in the product text, so we won't promise it. Email us before you order if that's the function you're after.
Does it all float?

The ferry and the boats are made to float. The mini cars are meant to sit on the ferry's deck and drive up and down the ramp. The maker doesn't say whether the cars float on their own.
Can it be used anywhere besides the bath?

Yes. The set works just as well in a tub in the garden, a paddling pool or at a calm lakeside. The 27 cm ferry needs a bit of room to come into its own, so a tub is often better than a small baby bath.
