AGE AND SAFETY
From 6 years and with an adult nearby. The set contains needles and small parts. Keep it away from younger siblings, count the needles up when you've finished, and don't leave the set out.
Does my child need to be able to sew already?

No. It's meant as a first sewing project. The pieces are cut out in advance, the holes are where they need to be, and a step-by-step guide is included. What your child learns is getting the needle in and out. The rest is laid out for them.
What age is it for?

The maker says from 6 years and with an adult nearby. There are real needles in the set, and that's the part that sets the age. A younger child can easily join in if an adult handles the needle and the child holds and turns the pieces.
What can the figures be used for afterwards?

The finished animals are small, soft figures that can be used as a keyring, hung up, put on a shelf or played with. Part of the point is that something your child made themselves is there at the end. That's why these projects get finished.
Which theme should I choose?
