Does the board speak Danish?

No. The board says the words in English, and according to the maker's images in Chinese too. There's no Danish speech in it. Worth knowing in advance: it's good for giving a child English words and sounds, but it won't teach them to read in Danish.
How does it work?

Your child presses a picture on the board and the board says the word out loud. Some panels give a sound instead, the animal's sound rather than its name for example. There are also games where the board says a word and your child has to find the right picture.
Does it have to hang on the wall?

It can be hung up, and that's often what gets it used, because your child can walk over to it themselves. It works just as well on the floor or on a table, as you can see in several of the product photos.
Which board should I choose?

Choose the topic your child is into right now. That's what decides whether it gets used. The alphabet is the broadest if the aim is letters and numbers, while animals, sea creatures and vehicles work best with a child who only talks about one subject at the moment.
