Materials, care and size

MATERIALS
Hard-wearing textile upper with laces. Thin, flexible sole with no raised heel.

CARE
Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry, and keep them away from the tumble dryer and radiators.

SIZES
Sizes 21 to 32.

HOW TO MEASURE
Stand your child on a piece of paper, mark behind the heel and at the longest toe, and add 0.5-1 cm. With barefoot shoes it matters even more that there's room in front of the toes, because the whole point is that they can spread.

COLOURS
Orange, black, white, check and leopard print.
What's the difference between barefoot shoes and ordinary shoes?

The sole is thin and bendy instead of thick and stiff, there's no raised heel, and the front of the shoe is wider. Together that lets the foot move and feel the ground almost as if it were bare, while still being protected.
Should I choose a different size than usual?

Measure the foot and add 0.5-1 cm. That matters more here than with ordinary shoes, because the toes need room to spread. A barefoot shoe bought too small loses the thing that makes it different.
Can you switch to them from ordinary shoes?

Yes, and for most children it happens without any trouble, because their feet are still strong and mobile. Let your child wear them a little at a time at first if they've been in stiff, thick-soled shoes for a long time.
Can they be worn all year?

They work best from spring to autumn, and indoors. The upper is textile and not waterproof, so for rain and snow you should choose a shoe that keeps feet dry.
