Does it turn into a robot?

No, it becomes a winged unicorn. The title says robot, but that doesn't match the photos, and we'd rather tell you than let you buy something other than what you expect. Look through the product photos and you'll see exactly what the figure becomes.
How does it transform?

The two cars click together and unfold into a body, legs, neck and wings. It's all done by hand with no tools, and it can be taken apart again as many times as your child likes.
Does it need batteries?

No. There are no electronics, no lights and no sound. That means the figure works from the moment the box is opened, and it can never run out mid-play.
Is it hard for a child to assemble?

The first few times it usually needs an adult beside them to show the order. After that most children from about four or five can do it themselves, and that's exactly what keeps the figure coming out again.
