What can my child do on the board?

The board has a steering wheel, keys, locks, switches, buttons, cogs and light buttons, 63 activities in all with sound and light. Your child can turn, press, unlock and close, and every function gives an answer straight away.
Does it need batteries?

Yes, the sound and lights run on 4 x AA batteries, which aren't included. The mechanical parts like the wheel, locks and cogs work without batteries, so the board can be used while you wait for batteries to arrive.
Is it good for travelling?

Yes. The board folds up like a small case with a handle, and all the parts are fixed to the panels, so nothing falls out in the luggage. That makes it well suited to car journeys, flights and visits to family.
What does it teach?

Turning, pressing, locking and fastening build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. At the same time your child learns cause and effect, that this press gives that sound, which is one of the earliest forms of problem solving.
